Robert A. Lauer Director and Operating Partner

Mr. Lauer has over 30 years management experience. He retired in 2000 after a 31-year career with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). He has extensive experience in strategic initiatives and operational responsibilities grounded in information technology, organizational performance and change management.

Mr. Lauer continues in an active role with both private and public companies. He has been an investor, advisor and board member for early-stage and public companies providing a wide range of technology-based solution offerings across multiple industries. In addition to Glengary, Mr. Lauer currently serves on the board of Agilysys, Inc. (NASDAQ), and the Cleveland Clinic Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute.

During his business career, Mr. Lauer was involved with a number of Cleveland civic and charitable organizations. He served on the Achievement Centers for Children board, Playhouse Square board, Boy Scouts of America board, and held various leadership roles in United Way campaigns.

Mr. Lauer holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University, and was recognized in 2009 as a Distinguished Alumni of the College of Engineering.
